πŸš€ Selah CLI - My Hackathon Journey

What Inspired Me

As a cloud engineering student, I witnessed talented "vibecoders" building amazing apps in Bolt.new but struggling with deployment. The gap between "working locally" and "running in production" felt insurmountable. I built a task manager in Bolt.new, fell in love with the creative process, then hit the deployment wall hard.

The Problem I Solved

Selah CLI makes cloud engineering invisible - you don't need to become a DevOps expert, you just need to ship your ideas. It's the world's first AI-powered tool that automatically migrates Bolt.new applications to enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure.

What I Built

A complete AI-powered deployment automation system:

  • AI Analysis Engine: Deep codebase scanning with Claude
  • Tavus Consultation: Live video chat with AI about deployment architecture
  • AWS Infrastructure Generation: Automatic CDK code creation
  • Smart Migration: Supabase β†’ AWS service mapping
  • 3-Minute Deployment: Complete production infrastructure

Technical Flow

Bolt.new App β†’ AI Analysis β†’ Tavus Consultation β†’ Infrastructure Generation β†’ AWS Deployment

Challenges I Overcame

  • Complex State Management: Migrating Supabase real-time to AWS polling
  • AI Integration: Combining Claude + Tavus for seamless user experience
  • Infrastructure Automation: Generating production-ready CDK code
  • User Experience: Making deployment approachable for non-technical users

What I Learned

The future of development isn't about making everyone a DevOps expert - it's about making DevOps unnecessary for most use cases. AI can bridge technical gaps when combined with conversational interfaces that feel natural.
