Seizure Monitor

Inspiration

My little brother just developed severe epilepsy and we wanted to create something to detect when he's having a seizure and alert our family if we are not present.

What it does

It will detect the changes in the Z value on the accelerometer and send an alert when the Z acceleration is 0.

How we built it

With an accelerometer connected to the Intel Edison, then using wifi to connect to ThingSpeak (not yet completed)

Converting floats to strings, getting wifi, getting the root password, etc
