Inspiration

We got the inspiration from the fact that for everything related to health, people do have applications but there's nothing that can do everything in one specific application. So that's what we've tried to solve using our discord bot.

What it does

It have tons of commands to use- list of functional commands $help $bmi $facts $leave $meditate $pause $ping $playexercise $playmeditation $playyoga $quotes $resume $stop $startmeditation $stopmeditation

How we built it

We built it with python using the discord.py library and we've hosted it on google cloud platform using google cloud computer engine

Challenges we ran into

One of our teammate was using PyCharm and the other was using VS-code to edit the code. This caused some issues while pushing and cloning our GitHub repo. Also, getting commands to work well while playing a playlist was tough too, but we somehow managed to do it in few attempts. Getting setup using compute engine was quite a challenge but regardless we managed

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we've made a really great functioning discord bot and that too within the time boundary. Also, it brings a positive impact on people's life, that's the best treat.

What we learned

This was our first ever discord bot that we've made, so yea we learned a lot. We also learned how to use various APIs in python and hosting bot on servers.
