To provide essential resources to a typical resident of a city who is seeking information to help themselves and their city to flourish

What it does

The webpage divides resources into 7 categories based on the 7 themes of Catholic Social Teaching. These themes encapsulate human flourishing in civil society. Beneath each category is a list of the offices/ministries within a typical archdiocese, such as the Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore, that administer the relevant services and the contact information for each office/ministry

How we built it

Used Amazon Q for Visual Studio to help generate code

Challenges we ran into

Ensuring the list of offices/ministries within the example archdiocese was up-to-date and finding ministries that were relevant for each of the 7 categories

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing the project quickly and efficiently with the help of Amazon Q despite minimal knowledge of html5

What's next for Seek the City

Possibly expanding the list of resources for additional dioceses so that residents in other dioceses can access resources close to them, or even help join office(s) within their diocese(s)
