Inspiration

We wanted to create a tool that can find the perfect playlists, but be able to use our existing Spotify accounts.

What it does

Whether that be too cool off for the night or get hyped for a workout, Seek Beats can find a perfect match! Using the Spotify API, the user gives the site a playlist name, a song, an artist, whether they want to increase or decrease the tempo, and the length of the playlist. Then, once submitted, you'll have a personalize playlist delivered right to your Spotify account!

How we built it

We used ReactJS for the front-end, python Flask for the back-end, Linode to host the site, Domain.com to register the domain, and the Spotify api to get the song data.

What's next for Seek Beats

We hope to add a detailed report page of the generated playlist after the user submits the form.
