Introducing SeeAI - a revolutionary AI-powered smart sunglasses designed to enhance accessibility for the visually impaired. With Hugging Face vision transformers and a state-of-the-art facial recognition system, SeeAI provides a hands-free experience, allowing users to understand the world around them through audio-based instructions.

The biggest motivation for this project was our visually impaired neighbor, who lives alone with his dog. Chatting with him made us realize how tough life is for people with his condition, and we wanted to do something to help him out using our tech skills. That's when we came up with the idea for SeeAI.

Our goal with SeeAI is to convert the visual world into verbal instructions, allowing the visually impaired users to ask questions about their surroundings through voice commands SeeAI converts what it sees into clear, concise audio instructions, empowering the users to make decisions on their own.

But what can SeeAI really do? SeeAI is equipped with DeepFace - one of the best facial recognition models on the market. This means that SeeAI can identify and remember people, making social interactions easier than ever before.

And that's not all. SeeAI can also assist the user in crossing the road with ease. With the Hugging Face vision transformer, the model can recognize various traffic signs like walk-sign, wait-sign, etc, and guide the user to take action accordingly. But we know that sometimes, the users may require additional assistance. That's why we've designed SeeAI to allow the user to make a video call instantly through a simple voice command. With an innovative implementation of Twillio API, through a simple voice command, SeeAI allows the user to quickly connect with someone who can give them live assistance by streaming their video over the Twilio API and ngrok

We strongly believe that accessibility is key to creating a more inclusive world. Our technology is just a small step towards that goal, but we strongly believe that the possibilities are endless.
