Inspiration
We were inspired by how people often struggle to express or understand emotions clearly and how voice carries emotional depth beyond words.
What it does
HearU analyzes voice recordings to generate empathetic emotional insights based on both language and vocal cues.
How I built it
We used React + Vite for the frontend and FastAPI for the backend, integrating Google Gemini API for emotion-aware summaries and analysis.
Challenges I ran into
Balancing emotional nuance with privacy while designing a stateless, real-time analysis pipeline was a key challenge.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud that hearU can deliver meaningful emotional reflection.
What I learned
I learned how to combine NLP, speech processing, and LLMs to create a human-centered emotional tech product.
What's next for See Your Voice
We plan to seek for better privacy protection methods. Based on that, we'll add more features.
