SecureProd – AI-Powered Cybersecurity for Smart Factories
Inspiration
As Industry 4.0 transforms manufacturing, factories are becoming increasingly connected through SCADA and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). While this connectivity improves productivity, it also creates new cybersecurity risks. Many industrial systems still rely on legacy infrastructure that was not designed to withstand modern cyberattacks.
We created SecureProd to help manufacturers detect threats before they disrupt production. Our goal was to combine artificial intelligence with industrial cybersecurity to provide real-time protection for critical infrastructure.
What it does
SecureProd is an AI-powered cybersecurity platform that protects industrial environments by:
- Monitoring industrial network traffic in real time.
- Detecting abnormal behavior using AI-based anomaly detection.
- Securing communications between industrial devices.
- Providing alerts and security insights for operators.
- Improving the resilience of smart factories against cyber threats.
How we built it
SecureProd combines several technologies into a layered security architecture:

Challenges we ran into
Building SecureProd presented several challenges:

- Finding high-quality industrial cybersecurity datasets.
- Balancing detection accuracy with real-time performance.
- Designing a solution that integrates with existing industrial infrastructure without disrupting operations.
These challenges pushed us to focus on creating an efficient and practical prototype.
