Inspiration

Many websites on the web are frankly quite shady and we wanted to build a tool to look into the vulrability of a site and how safe it is.

What it does

How web application combs through a user entered site and tests it on multiple criteria to gauge how safe it is and also can see any vulnerabilities it may have.

How it was built

We built this project with HTML, CSS, and python

Challenges I ran into

integrating onto a Django web server was, by far, the most difficult part of this endeavor.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The look and feel of the site, as well as the scanner functionality.

What I learned

Cybersecurity is a serious issue online and people should take it into account more.

What's next for Secure Yourself

Hopefully a more finalized project and a live site.
