Inspiration

Many esports gamers have reported not winning the full prize winnings that they should have received. As well as the prize money not being fully paid out to the winners.

What it does

We created a site where gamers can host and join tournaments and put money into a secure prize pool with their MetaMask account to ensure the winner gets paid the full amount collected.

How we built it

We used React, Flask, python, hardhat and solidity to build and run our project

Challenges we ran into

We faced multiple challenges from learning how to program a smart contract to simple URL mishaps that took us hours to figure out

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our proudest achievement is being able to set up the smart contracts and actually have the winners of the tournament get paid into their MetaMask wallet.

What we learned

We have learned a lot from this project from some of us learning react for the first time and adopting its syntax to learning solidity and flask to host our server and run the smart contracts.
