Emotion Transmission Hub
Happy Emotion Detected!
Dead Emotion Detected!
We came to the realization that there were very few secure methods of communicating without people listening in; that is, without the use of encryption, linguistics, or anything smart.
What it does
Transmit an audible tone from your smartphone that represents one in four emotions. This tone can then be decoded into an emotion by someone else running the same application.
How we built it
Mathemagic and FFTs.
Challenges we ran into
Coming up with a useless enough idea suitable for uWaterloo's TerribleHacks III.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
I'm not too sure to be honest.
What's next for Secure Communicator
We hope to incorporate 256-bit encryption for secure peer-to-peer communication preferably for use during university lectures.
