Inspiration
Our inspiration stemmed from a real-life incident involving one of our teammates. During a routine medical checkup, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with fatty liver. Shocked by the results, he sought a second opinion — only to find out that the diagnosis was incorrect. This experience opened our eyes to how common misdiagnoses can be, and how critical timely second opinions are for accurate treatment.
Supporting this, research from mayo clinic reveal that: 21% of the time, the final diagnosis is completely different from the original. 66% of second opinions clarify or refine the initial diagnosis. Only 12% confirm the first diagnosis without change.

These numbers highlight a serious gap in the current healthcare journey. Patients often face confusion, emotional stress, and language or access barriers when trying to verify unexpected diagnoses. Inspired by this need, we built Second Opinion, a human-centered platform powered by AgentForce, where expert medical insights are just a voice note away. Our goal is to simplify access to trusted second opinions — making the process fast, reassuring, and accessible to everyone.
What it does
Second Opinion, powered by AgentForce, is an AI-driven healthcare assistant that helps patients get expert second opinions quickly and securely. It supports multilingual communication, voice interaction, automatic doctor matching, appointment booking, and secure in-app messaging — ensuring users feel understood and empowered.
