A successful backup notification is reassuring. It does not demonstrate that a selected set of files can be copied back and verified.

SECOND COPY is a bounded recovery rehearsal for small teams using a NAS. Choose current reference files, their backup copies and a new rehearsal destination. The Skill asks for approval, delegates the supported file operations and produces a receipt showing what the evidence supports for every selected file.

A mismatch does not get a reassuring green badge. Missing files, changed inputs, ambiguous copy results and partial operations remain explicit. Originals are preserved and existing destinations are never overwritten.

The initial Markdown Skill was developed with the official UGREEN creation kit and passes its static checker with no errors or warnings. An independent synthetic corpus exercises the decision policy locally. These are not NAS runtime tests; actual hardware validation is planned for the assigned finalist testing day.
