We decided to create a website that supports ex-convicts and help them achieve economic stability. We were inspired to help because we feel like everyone deserves a second chance, or an opportunity to turn their life around. We conducted a lot of research on this topic and learned about the unique opportunities these ex-convicts. For example, they can be compensated for helping the environment, such as planting trees. However, while coding the website, we encountered a setback. We wanted to add a feature where if you input your zipcode we would provide a list of the nearest natural and non-profit organizations to sign up for possible and future events. We got our API key, but while compiling the code for our geolocation feature, we had trouble with it. We will overcome this setback with a little time after proofreading through our code.
