Throw anything into a folder. Ask the folder anything.

Inspiration

People photograph passports, insurance renewals, school letters and medicine boxes. They want two things from those photos: to not miss the date on them, and to find them again later. Notes apps leave the organising to you. Reminder apps cannot read a document. We wanted one app that does both.

What it does

Photograph a document, type a line, record a voice note, or share a PDF in from another app. It is read, titled and summarised, and any date inside it becomes a reminder with sensible notice.

Every folder has one text box. Type something worth keeping and it is filed. Ask a question and it is answered from what the folder holds. Ask something the folder cannot answer — "which pharmacy is open now near me" — and the app offers to search the web.

How SerpApi is used

When a question needs the live web, the app asks before searching, then sends the question to SerpApi together with the phone's location and answers from the results. In the demo, a folder holding a medicine is asked "which pharmacy is open now near me"; the answer is a pharmacy open at 4:30am and its phone number. Nothing else was typed.

How we built it

Flutter on Android. Supabase for the database, storage and Edge Functions. Gemini reads text, images and audio. SerpApi for the live web. Firebase Cloud Messaging for reminders, RevenueCat over Google Play for subscriptions.

Challenges

Deciding what a line of text means — something to file, a question, or a search — in a way that feels right without asking the person every time. And resisting features: several things we built worked and were removed because they made the app harder to explain.
