A cluttered workspace makes people to a cluttered mind. The organized desk will be more inviting and motivate you to work. Employee satisfaction and engagement are essential for the success of the business. The organization won't run efficiently and smoothly if the people aren't concerned or committed to your mission. The stress-free workspace lets you focus on what's really important and taking care of the business. The Wall Street Journal shows that productivity has been increased when the assigned charts in place and refresh on a regular basis.

What it does

The critical office layout design and the seating plans make the employees be happier in the office environment. It has the features of organization chart, office, schedules, peoples, analytics, and map. So, the application will focus on creating a versatile layout and the seating arrangements that foster collaboration and creativity.

  1. Organization Chart: It reflects the organization's current reality and defines its futures. You can visualize the company of leaders, teams, and board which helps to see the departments fit together and reporting hierarchy. Also, you can dive deeper into individual employee profiles.

  2. Office: Get up to date floor plan of the office and book your space or desk for the quick setup which helps to see your office is used with workplace analytics.

  3. Schedules: Once you have a dozen employees, it's a good time to start tracking where the people are sitting. So, the manager allocates a certain number of seats to each department in the designated areas. He knows best how the team should be laid out. This will help to implement the manager's seat allocation for the team.

  4. Analytics: The space availability will show when the space is available or unavailable. This helps to understand the team to schedule the work or book out for the project on month or week

  5. Maps: It helps to plan for future scenarios. The occupants move seats and the assignments are kept up-to-date with streamlined add, change process, and workflow.

How I built it

I have used the react for the front-end(UX/UI) and Firebase RealTime Database for the back-end design of our application.

Challenges I ran into

Understanding of the read and write operation with firebase is critical. Also, it is a challenge to implement the application in architecture.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of:

I have completed the UX/UI design of the seating plan for the team. This is a very useful application for the team to book out the desk in the organization which I have developed and tested.

What I learned

I have learned the react programming for the UI/UX design. Also, I have learned the various boards, views, widgets, and implementing the application on top of this architecture.

What's next for Seating Plan for the Team

I have developed, tested, and deployed in template for the team to bookout desks. Still, We can implement more features and functionality in the production environment.
