Sea Shell
Inspiration
Seashell was inspired by the hack theme and was derived from different type of shell the ocean current brings to the shore. It was discovered that many tourist don’t know the name of each of this shell they play with at the sea shore so we delve into the research to educate the tourist while they enjoy their vacation.
What it does
Seashell is used to identify the name of each shell found at the shore with the use of machine learning.
How we built it
Sea shell was built using python flask technology along site machine learning for the backend with html, css and bootstrap for the frontend
Challenges we ran into
Our challenges is limited to the integration of ML into flask framework and generation of data set which was later found in a github repo
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing the task ahead of time as many of the team members are new to the challenge.
What we learned
We learnt the about cooperation. Teamwork, motivation and on the code aspect we learnt more on machine learning
What's next for Seashell
We hope to make Seashell more advance in algorithms for proper recognition and classification of each shells.
