What it does

Adds a search bar in the follower/following tab to search the user in the list and provide analytics of the selected user such as latest tweets, user id, no of followers, total no of tweets etc.

How we built it

We've built it using python, Twitter API and Tkinter. Twitter API is used in the backend for fetching the required data and Tkinter is used for GUI.

Challenges we ran into

We initially started implementing the front end by using HTML,CSS and JavaScript but had our backend to use Twitter API in Python and we didn't find a way to integrate JavaScript and Python. So, we wrote the front in python itself using Tkinter.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our Team Work by collaborating with complete strangers.

What we learned

We learnt to use Twitter API and to work under extreme pressure(to complete the project in a short span).

What's next for Search n Analytics

Searching a way to integrate JavaScript and Python and make amazing UI. Working on automating the search bar and actually implementing it on twitter.
