Inspiration

Many people don't like talking to a lot of people or trying on clothes many people have tried on before. This creates a fear of going to clothing stores and trying on new clothes. People like this will sometimes try to buy the clothes and wear it at home, but then find out it isn't the right size or doesn't look good.

What it does

Our program will use AI to generate a picture of you with clothing you choose, and will show you how it looks. This means people can try on clothes and see how it looks, plus give you advice on the fit type of it for you to decide if its the right choice.

How we built it

We used a mixture of VSCode, Replit, and other editors between the group in order to create the unfinished project itself, as well as a website and presentation.

Challenges we ran into

The main part of the application is having an AI that can differentiate between the person and the clothing they want on that person, and have it look clean and realistic. Most beta-tests either did not support this, or had a deformed facial structure. Other problems we ran into included our diverse knowledge. Lots of us knew some topics well, but that included topics other people in the group didn't know.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to create a viable and in-theory useful project that help people with phobias about the public world. Even with the lack of shared programming knowledge between the group, we were still able to code visually pleasing elements, and had the barebones of the main software.

What we learned

We learned some information about the info everyone else had to share, and managed to work well together. The group itself communicated nicely and efficiently, and had a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

What's next for SeamDream Team

In the future we can work to make the project itself a mobile app or website. This can be done with integration of the main AI, GUI, and marketing with the team.
