What it does - ScrollSmack interrupts the scroll instead of only reporting it afterward. Choose the apps you want to watch and set a continuous-use limit. When you cross it, a full-screen roast interrupts you. To dismiss it, type "I am wasting my time" letter for letter. Eight personas deliver forty pre-written roasts (not AI-generated). It measures continuous sessions, not a daily quota.
How I built it - Solo, Kotlin + Jetpack Compose. Uses Android Usage Access to detect watched apps and an overlay for the interruption. Fully offline: no account, ads, analytics, or cloud sync.
The design choice - a short, deliberate pause rather than a hard lock. You can go back after typing the phrase, but the interruption makes you notice the time.
