Inspiration
As a fellow content creator, I often grapple with the dilemma of deciding my next content, crafting a script, determining the cinematic transitions, and more. With rise of short form content like Instagram reels, the surge in short-form content demands consistent posting, leaving creators pressed for time and ideas.
What it does
Enter ScriptCraft, your content creation companion. Simply input your content idea and desired duration, and let the AI work its magic. ScriptCraft generates a comprehensive script, detailing scenes and transitions, eliminating overthinking. It goes further by suggesting suitable music and captions, making the entire process seamless for content creators.
How we built it
Built using AWS PartyRock, creating the app was a breeze. Leveraging AI streamlined most tasks, requiring only minimal adjustments to achieve our desired product. In just a few minutes, ScriptCraft was born!
Challenges we ran into
Initially, we envisioned users describing their content ideas, with AI generating a storyboard through image generation. However, limitations surfaced as a single image generation widget could only produce one image at a time. Our solution involved incorporating multiple widgets, but determining the quantity proved challenging due to varying scene counts and video lengths, parameters currently unsupported by the image generation widget.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We take pride in ScriptCraft's current capabilities. It not only provides content ideas but guides creators through the entire content creation process, suggesting scenes, scripts, music, captions, and even crafting a captivating thumbnail.
What we learned
Our journey with AWS PartyRock taught us the art of prompt engineering to effortlessly create an app. The process was enjoyable, and we gained valuable insights along the way.
What's next for ScriptCraft
The future holds exciting developments for ScriptCraft. We aim to implement an animation/storyboard feature, allowing users to input their ideas and receive a polished storyboard video as the end result.
