Inspiration

There's got to be a better way to do virtual meetings! It's so distracting an boring.

What it does

Scribe does real-time transcription and summarization. to keep you up to date with all relevant meeting information like action items, and main points.

How we built it

We used a python backend with flask to host.

Challenges we ran into

There aren't good open-source meeting audio tools. There are a few services that will do the transcription, but getting the audio was a huge challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got an end-to-end demo working. Transcription out of google meet, summarization with gpt, and piping that to a website that streams the information to the end user.
