Inspiration Online school has been really tough lately, as it is quite hard to simultaneously take perfect notes, ask questions, listen to the teacher, and watch what is being screenshared. Hence, I made SCRIBE to help fix a major problem due to distance learning.
What it does Scribe consists of two parts. The ai notetaker part uses nlp and the google's speech recognition api to take next and make perfect notes out of it The image recognition software uses OCR/computer vision to detect the text on the image and then take perfect notes of that
How I built it I used python,html,css, and flask
Challenges I ran into It was quite hard to do so much in a day, and learn how to use the speech recognitoin api
Accomplishments that I'm proud of Proud of making a project that is fully functioning and can solve a major problem
What I learned I learned advanced api use, different types of machine learning, and flask more in depth
What's next for SCRIBE I would like to implement this at my school, as it will greatly benefit everyone
