Inspiration

Technology is improving at an astounding rate, and it can be hard to stay on task while working. In fact, not only students, but adults face the same problem.

What it does

Through a website, we compare results that you fill out in a survey with the results of others, and you can also view data from pre-existing datasets found on Kaggle.

How we built it

We used primarily libraries in Python, such as "matplotlib" to generate graphs, and "pandas" to calculate averages and make tables. Then, we created a slide presentation and a survey that compares your results with others using a chart from Google Sheets, all of which is accessible from the website.

Challenges we ran into

We all went into this without any proper experience in data science. Learning how to implement analytical methods without knowing what was feasible was a trial-and-error process. Our greatest challenge was to make a fully functional website. We did not know any full stack applications, so we had to think of simple methods to create a website. However, this resulted in a website that was not as customizable as we would have wanted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of being able to work as a team, bringing together the best and unique skills from other teammates, and being extremely productive during our time limit. Regardless of the end result, I am extremely happy with the progress we made so far, and I couldn't be prouder of my team.

What we learned

We learned how to implement python libraries into Google Colab to analyze data and look for trends. We also learned how to make a simple website to collect user data and display it for the users.
