Scrawl was inspired by the need for students to share notes and other class materials in a simple and intuitive way. Instead of repurposing other platforms such as email, text, or social media to share materials where they are not convenient and can easily be buried, Scrawl is designed from the ground up to promote collaboration. Scrawl allows students to quickly find classmates by entering their schedule and automatically sort their notes based on the time uploaded. The interface is designed around familiarity and allows for future integration with hardware such as LeapMotion for a seamless transition between writing notes and viewing notes on screen.
