Inspiration

“My project is aimed to educate people in general especially children of my age how they behave as a responsible citizen and avoid being in “Lockdown” by abiding laws of the land”

What it does

As they say, “a picture speaks thousand words”, so I am trying to show through this contrasting animation work of bad behavior vs. good behavior

Bad behavior or unlawful activities such as looting someone, stealing someone else’s things can make us land in “Lockdown”

On the contrary, good behavior can earn us lot of blessings which can help us be a better human being who thinks and acts for upliftment of the society

It also highlights selfish vs. selfless service behavior

How we built it

My project is based on scratch tool (a block-based programming language)

This tool provides various readymade functions in a drag-and-drop fashion

Challenges we ran into

I ran into multiple challenges like

The flow of execution gets disturbed few times as we drag-and-drop functions from left tool bar to center screen

I had to develop it 2-3 times

The sequence of steps needs to be tested multiple times and readjusted whenever we add/delete any step in the existing flow of code

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of finishing in such a short time It was really challenging but I did it

What we learned

The biggest learning was about time management

I was a bit nervous at few times when I saw something working before, but it stops working after making a minor change or enhancement in the flow to explain my point well

What's next for Scratch code lockdown

I want to further improvise my project by implementing controls such as if-then-else for better user experience

In my next enhancement to the code, user will be able to click on a particular choice
