Inspiration

We wanted to create a platform that helps users research stocks efficiently by providing sentiment analysis and relevant insights. Our goal was to simplify stock research by aggregating useful data in an intuitive interface.

What it does

Scout allows users to:

  • Log in to access a personalized experience.

How we built it

We built Scout using:

  • Frontend: React.js for a dynamic and responsive user interface.
  • Backend: Node.js with Express to handle API requests.
  • Database: MySQL for managing user accounts and preferences.
  • Sentiment Analysis: Integrated APIs to provide insights on stock sentiment.
  • Deployment: Hosted using AWS services for scalability and reliability.
