Inspiration

chess is a game modeled after war yet it lacks the surprise ambush and uncertainty of a real war

What it does

it is chess game that only shows you the squares occupied by or can be attacked by your pieces. realistic!

How we built it

didn't interfere to manually tinker; everything done by bolt with my ideas

Challenges we ran into

maintaining game session and transition in realtime and connecting to supabase

Accomplishments that we're proud of

the vision to make such a game and stick to that vision rather than following other ideas

What we learned

I learned front end and backend integration how they split up responsibilities

What's next for scout chess

an active online community constantly surprised and having fun playing scout chess. maybe I'll try powerups like reveal a square or heal a piece etc
