When I looked at test prep apps, most gave you a question, told you the right answer, and moved on. That doesn't help much if you don't know why you got it wrong.

ScoreMint has over 1,000 practice questions written from scratch for SAT Math, AP Physics 1, AP Chemistry and ACT Science, plus 25 or so free-response questions with scoring rubrics. Every multiple choice question explains the right answer and also why each wrong answer is wrong. That part took the most work and it's the reason the app exists.

You can practice in a few ways: five quick questions, a timed section, one topic at a time, or only the questions you've missed before. A review queue brings old questions back before you forget them.

The progress screen gives you an estimated score range, for example SAT Math 720 to 760, worked out on your phone from how you've been doing. It gets more precise the more you practice.

All the questions are inside the app, so it works with no internet. There's no account and nothing is tracked.

You get three free questions a day. Premium opens everything up and is sold through RevenueCat as weekly, yearly or lifetime.
