Inspiration
We were inspired by the messy, uncoordinated Board of Education meetings that our school districts offers and sought out a technological solution to it.
What it does
It allows each part of the educational community to give and receive specialized feedback to one another.
How I built it
The website was mostly front-end web development with HTML/CSS, Javascript, and jQuery.
Challenges I ran into
The team is comprised of 3 people, all who are all Java programmers. There was only one web developer, who ended up doing all of the coding. This took more time because we couldn't share the workload. Also, we didn't have a back-end web dev, so our site has no back end.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The clean UI and Searching functionalities.
What I learned
We learned a lot about web development in the process.
What's next for SCORE
Definitely, in the future, we will expand SCORE by adding a back end.
