Inspiration

Small agencies often lose money when extra client requests are completed without clear approval. We built ScopeDelta to keep scope, decisions, and delivery connected.

What it does

ScopeDelta helps teams identify work outside the agreed scope. An AI agent can organize the process, while people approve important commercial and client decisions.

How we built it

We built ScopeDelta with Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and WebMCP. WebMCP lets AI agents use the product through structured tools inside the browser.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was balancing automation with human control. We also had to work around browser tool limits and protect private client information.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a complete workflow connecting client requests, scope changes, human approval, delivery, and client acceptance. Important actions always require confirmation.

What we learned

We learned that agents work best when their tools are simple and focused. We also learned that some decisions—especially those involving money—should always stay with people.

What's next for ScopeDelta

Next, we want to test ScopeDelta with real agencies, improve the agent experience, and help more teams turn scope creep into clear, approved work.
