schoolboy

Inspiration

I have shared my revision materials with other students before and they have said they are very helpful so I thought I could turn this idea into a website. In addition to this, turning it into a forum-based thing it means I don't have to look after it entirely by myself, other people can help with the subjects I don't take

What it does

You can upload your own revision materials to the website. AI will then summarise these and display this (it updates when more stuff is added). There is also a premium mode which gives you access to AI generated flashcards, quizzes and an AI tutor to help you with any queries you may have

How we built it

Using Lovable

Challenges we ran into

It was quite difficult navigating through some of the UI issues but after some persistence and especially using the lovable 'planning mode' I managed to find the source of the problems and fix them

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud that it works and is completely functional. Also, I really like the fact that you can just put your notes in and AI will turn it into flashcards, quizzes and all kinds of other stuff

What we learned

That AI is more powerful than I ever realised and it's applications are limitless

What's next for schoolboy

There is a premium mode which should hopefully generate some revenue. Hopefully it is still used in future and even when I am not at the school. Since it is forum-based and AI generated it does not really need any input from me to grow, this makes it very scalable and it could quite easily grow a lot bigger as long as users recommend and share it with their friends (if you would like to try out Premium mode, there is a free trial you can activate)
