Inspiration

We wanted a place to exclusively talk about our academics and studies.

What it does

A forum for every school. (Only foothill as of now).

How we built it

We used flask and python, with some fancy front end code.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of errors and bugs, our main back end guy wasn't heavily experienced in flask but he really took initiative and carried the project heavily.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having a working website, with user authentication, working forums, and more.

What we learned

We learned a lot of computer science topics, web development, databases, html.

What's next for School Social

Branching out and adding compatibility for more schools, stepping up our moderation and teacher control.
