Inspiration
One day a friend of mine had the idea to build a software that could help manage school, because most of the public schools (and some private) in Haiti has no new-gen Management System, they still use paper and folders to keep their informations, we had to change that so that's how the idea of the Management Software was born.
What it does
Basically, what it does is managing every student's stuff, from paid tuition and fees to student's grade and classes. With the software the school will have access to any student's status(GPA, classes...) and this will help getting things done easily.
How we building it
We're using Qt as a IDE , but our main language is c++. The software is still in development.
Challenges we ran ( or running) into
Implementing MySQL to Qt was our biggest concern, we had to learn from other developers how to do it, but in the end we did it.
What We learned so far
So far we learned that programming is not an easy thing to do, but with a great team and will-power we could do anything.
What's next for School Management Software
We're in one of the essential part of the list, which is Testing, and Debugging.
