This project was inspired by the extra time used to create folders for all of your classes and Hackarizona 2025.

This project can create folders and subfolders for your assignment types or move a file into one of the folders. All of this is done in a single window, and it will sort it by the type selected. It is customizable and can be access by anyone with java 17 and javafx.

This project was built using Visual Studio Code and Eclipse. Eclipse was used for the backend portion where the folders are created, and the files are moved. VSCode was used for the app. We went through a couple trial versions before settling on javafx for the final version.

The challenges we ran into were getting javafx working on all team members computers and translating code when making different versions in the trial phase.

We are proud to have a program that does not crash when address' are incomplete or having blank selections. This is also something that we would be able to use daily.

We learned a lot about javafx and github in the process. Specifically: window sizing and choice boxes.

For future versions we plan on adding the ability to copy all files in a selected folder and a way to create to create folders for all school classes at once instead of making the base folders one by one. See the readme in github for more info.
