Inspiration

Access to scholarships can be complex and overwhelming for students, often leading to missed opportunities. We wanted to simplify the process by creating an intuitive platform that connects students with the right scholarships based on their academic achievements, interests, and financial needs.

What it does

SPARK is an intelligent scholarship portal designed to match students with relevant funding opportunities. It allows users to create profiles, search for scholarships, receive personalized recommendations, and track their applications—all in one place.

How we built it

We developed SPARK using a combination of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and React for the front end, PHP (My PHP Admin) for the back end, and MySQL for efficient data storage. Our recommendation engine leverages machine learning algorithms to match students with the most suitable scholarships based on their profiles.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Chatbot in help and support section.
Optimizing search results: Ensuring accurate scholarship recommendations.
User experience: Designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface to simplify the application process.

Developed a Dynamic system(Admin end and Student end) working in real-time.
Created an easy-to-use, student-friendly as well as admin-friendly interface.
Integrated features like Review System and AI-Powered ChatBot to help students.
