We understand that financial challenges can be a significant barrier for students aspiring to attend college.
What it does
Our platform is designed to help CUNY students in need of financial support by providing access to a comprehensive database of scholarships. Students can easily search for scholarships that match their specific criteria, such as GPA, income, and enrollment status, ensuring they find the support they need to pursue their education.

We utilized API using Express for the backend and React for the frontend

We learned how to build a site in React and fetch MongoDB data with the API built on Express.
What's next for Scholarship Finder
Create a login feature for officers from the financial aid and scholarship department across different colleges to add scholarships and optimize the user experience of using the site.
