Scholar Reseller

Inspiration

We are all students who have experienced the challenge of paying for course textbooks.

What it does

Scholar Reseller is an application that students can use to either sell old textbooks that they don't need, or to buy needed books for a lower price.

How we built it

We built this application on Xcode, using Swift.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was that none of us knew how to code in the Swift language at the start. However, we used our experiences from Java and Python to guide us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although the app is only a prototype of our idea, it is a good demonstration of how we will connect people through it.

What we learned

We learned to create user interfaces with Xcode, and we added Swift classes with methods to maneuver around the app.

What's next for Scholar Reseller

We can develop a marketplace and link additional sources such as Amazon or Shelfit.
