Many people miss out on government schemes because they are unaware of the benefits available to them or find it difficult to understand eligibility criteria and navigate multiple websites. We wanted to address this problem by building a solution that makes discovering relevant government schemes simpler, faster, and more accessible.

What It Does

Scheme Finder is designed to help users discover government schemes that may match their needs and eligibility. It aims to simplify the search process, make scheme information easier to understand, and help users find relevant opportunities without unnecessary complexity.

How We Built It

We developed Scheme Finder as our project for the Nebius x NVIDIA Global AI Hackathon. Our goal was to create a user-friendly solution focused on simplifying scheme discovery. We worked on the project concept, user experience, and implementation to make the process of finding relevant schemes more convenient. The technical details and AI integrations should reflect the tools and services used in our actual implementation.

Challenges We Faced

One of our main challenges was identifying how to present scheme information in a clear and useful way. Government schemes can have different eligibility requirements, benefits, and application procedures. We focused on making the information easier to navigate and the overall experience more approachable for users.

What We Learned

Through this project, we learned more about translating a real-world problem into a practical technology solution. We gained experience in problem-solving, project development, and designing a user-focused application. Participating in the hackathon also encouraged us to explore how AI can help make information more accessible.

Future Scope

We aim to improve Scheme Finder with multilingual support, more comprehensive and regularly updated scheme information, personalized eligibility matching, and links to official application portals. Future enhancements could also include an AI-powered conversational assistant to help users understand schemes in simple language.
