Inspiration
We realized that setting up events in a calendar wasn't enough to guarantee that the event will be attended by the user.
What it does
The website will recognize details of the class, things like location, date, time, etc.. it will estimate the ETA, and the time it would take to reach the location.
How we built it
Using java script, and html build the website, using websites like Figma, apps like Krita, and infinite paint to to make a model of how it should look and act at the end.
Challenges we ran into
We have never used java or html in this use case before so we had to learn as we go, same goes for Figma, a website that we have never used, all of that on top of one of our teammates had to leave for a family commitment and we had to work with him through calls.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to get an actual working concept that mostly fits with what we envisioned.
What we learned
Using tools that we've used before for an event, probably isn't the best idea, but it lead to us getting creative with what we know, using languages we already knew then translating the code to a different language using online recourses, using non traditional designing software, like using software made for drawing to design a website.
What's next for ScheduleKarte
After finishing the website we thought maybe we can expand it through a phone app, or maybe a browser extension.
