We were inspired to make this project because of all the stress we built up during the first week of school due to the lack of organization.

What it does

Schedule Master is a web application that takes the user's inputs in the form of a Google Calendar event. These events contain the title to their task, the desired time spent doing their task, and their priority level of that specific task. With all of this considered, Schedule Masters sorts the tasks given to it and imports the newly made schedule into the user's own Google Calendar.

How we built it

We built Schedule Masters by building upon a HTML template, adding our own CSS style sheets, used our own algorithm to create a new schedule for the user in JavaScript and used Node.js to host our server. We also integrated Google Calendar's API to create events into a Google Calendar and import it

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we ran into when creating Schedule Masters was hosting the website through Node.js and express due to our lack of experience with the tools.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Something we're proud of is that we were able to get a project fully functional and running despite the lack of experience in all the languages and tools used.

What we learned

We learned how to use Google calendar's API as well as how to host servers with node.js and express.

What's next for Schedule Master

One thing we hope we can do next for Schedule Master is to wipe the current schedule that the user has made and start a fresh slate.
