Inspiration
Many times during hackathons, different events happen at different systems at different time zones , added to this is that the participants might also be at different times zones. Also, important notifications in messaging channels might be missed.
If there is any organizer kind of app which takes care of organizing the bits and pieces into a consolidated view for easy navigation, I could be spending more time in doing productive work.
What it does
My solution tries to keep track of different events taking place in different time zones and work progress in one place for easy navigation.
How we built it
I built it by taking into consideration the devpost hackathon schedule , timezones , project tasks, and messaging app API's and integrating into a consolidated view for easy navigation.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating different systems and gaining permissions is a challenge. Identifying the minimum viable product is a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am able to build the demo of the near-final view of my idea which consolidates data from different systems.
What we learned
We learnt that Instead of building a big application, we should identify things which can be readily built with the resources in hand.
What's next for Schedule Hack
Identifying the most readily accessible system with easy integration with our solution and go-live.
