Inspiration

We were thinking about how difficult it must be for Guidance Councilors to make Schedules for students every summer and decided we wanted to help them

What it does

The Schedule Creator makes school schedules for students and is a tool for guidance counselors to create the schedules over the summer

How we built it

We used Python coding and many loops and if statements to make a functional schedule creator

Challenges we ran into

Most of the people in our team are not very fluent in Python. We were not familiar with the Syntax making it more difficult to code

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of making a fully functional code even with the handicap of being influent in Python

What we learned

We learned a lot about Python and this was a very helpful experience.

What's next for Schedule Creator

In the future, we may incorporate more tools for teachers to use such as an easier way to change the classes and blocks offered. In addition, we may be able to incorporate AI to make it more user friendly and adaptive
