Inspiration
As a social media manager juggling 8+ accounts daily, I grew frustrated with tab-switching, repetitive uploads, and guesswork around posting times. I wanted a tool that unifies every part of content publishing—no more disjointed workflows.
What it does
ContentScheduler Pro centralizes multi-platform content scheduling, AI-powered time optimization, bulk uploads, calendar management, and performance analytics in one intuitive dashboard.
How we built it
We built the frontend with React/Tailwind for smooth animations and responsive design; backend with Node.js/Express to handle API integrations. MongoDB stores content data, AWS S3 hosts media, and OpenAI API drives posting time recommendations.
Challenges we ran into
Syncing real-time data across 20+ social platforms caused latency issues; perfecting drag-and-drop calendar animations required iterative UI testing; enforcing platform-specific character limits dynamically was tricky.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a seamless drag-and-drop calendar with AI heatmaps; building a real-time preview for cross-platform content; reducing bulk scheduling time by 70% for users.
What we learned
Mastering OAuth 2.0 for secure platform connections; balancing visual flair (animations) with performance; prioritizing user-centric design over feature bloat.
What's next for this project
