Inspiration

We have found that managing our daily schedules is often stressful. The hassle of using multiple tools and coordinating them to avoid overlapping schedules consumes a lot of time and energy. To solve this problem, we felt that we needed a tool that would make schedule management simpler and more intuitive.

What it does

The Schedule Management Agent is API-connected to Google Calendar and synchronizes with the calendar in real time. For example, if you ask, "What's next?" the agent will respond with a markdown of upcoming appointments. Adding a new appointment is also easy. You can ask, "Add a meeting tomorrow at 3 p.m.," and your calendar will reflect it. In addition, the system also works with Slack, making it easy to coordinate schedules with your team and clients.

How we built it

Google Calendar API and Slack API are used for scheduling and communication integration.

Challenges we ran into

I had a hard time linking APIs and calling them properly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The seamless integration of multiple platforms through the Google Calendar and Slack integration is another major achievement.

What we learned

Through Vertex AI Agent Builder, I was also able to learn in depth about API integration and natural language processing techniques.

What's next for schedule-agent

I plan to integrate with more platforms and add new features that will enhance the user experience. For example, I will make scheduling more convenient by integrating with voice assistants and introducing more advanced analytics.
