Inspiration
We had a simple task - tackling one of the biggest challenges humanity faces. Without clear innovations, we cannot build a sustainable tomorrow. This applies to all aspects of our daily lives, and especially for green and innovative mobility. Therefore, we proudly present Über. And we are not just a simple Uber clone - we are flying Über the radar to get you to your destination fast.
What it does
By developing an algorithm for the management of the fleet, we are able to utilize locality and group our customers together. Therefore, we can minimize the time customers need to wait for their ride. On top of that, because of the optimized routing that our algorithm is able to create, the distance driven by the fleet is minimized, so that maintenance, fuel consumption, environmentally harmful gases and pollution are reduced to a bare minimum.
How we built it
To give our customers blazingly fast results, we build a scalable backend using Golang. And for our fleet managers, we develop a unique administration tool to see the status of the fleet in real time, so that managers can get a quick and precise overview of the current status of the company, so they can focus again on making operative decisions.
