Inspiration

Our project was born from a deep concern about global issues affecting communities worldwide. We recognized the need for a platform that could raise awareness and facilitate meaningful action. The growing disconnect between people who want to help and organizations making a difference inspired us to create a bridge for positive change.

What it does

Scattered Horizons serves as a connection platform that links compassionate individuals with verified non-profit organizations. Through our interface, users can discover causes, learn about global challenges, and take direct action. The platform features Google login integration and interactive mapping to help users find and support organizations making real impact in their areas of concern.

How we built it

We developed the platform using :

• Flask backend for robust server-side operations
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive front-end design
• Google Login API for seamless authentication
• Mapping APIs to visualize organization locations and impact areas
• Integration with non-profit organization APIs for real-time data
