Inspiration

Well, after finishing my first project, I still wanted to do something. I had my laptop, and I had Unity installed, and things just kind of happened.

What it does

It's a relatively simple program where you jump around a tiny playing field and throw projectiles at another AI.

How I built it

I powered through and used my previous experience with Unity to make something better than what I'd done before.

Challenges I ran into

Many times, when coding, you run into something that just doesn't make sense. It should work, but it doesn't. What's more, it refuses to cooperate and does the opposite of what you want. This happened quite a bit.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm rather proud of finishing the first prototype in only a half a day. I think that is worth some merit, even if it could use some work.

What I learned

I learned some better practices for coding and that I get really tired after lack of sleep.

What's next for Scarfman!

Probably some better software, artwork, and a bigger map. And goodness knows the AI needs work too.
