Rising online scams and fake websites inspired us to build a platform that helps users detect and avoid digital fraud in real time.
What it does
ScamRadar X analyzes suspicious links, messages, and websites using AI to identify potential scams and alert users instantly.
How we built it
We built a React web app, connected it to a FastAPI backend, integrated AI models/APIs, and created a simple user-friendly interface.
Challenges we ran into
Collecting reliable scam data, improving detection accuracy, and integrating multiple technologies smoothly were our biggest challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully developed a working prototype that can help users identify scams quickly and increase online safety.
What we learned
We learned full-stack development, API integration, teamwork, and how AI can be used to solve real-world cybersecurity problems.
What's next for ScamRadar
We plan to improve accuracy, add browser extensions and mobile support, and build a larger scam detection database.
