We wanted to make an application that provided a tool that would be useful while also providing a learning experience for us.
What it does
The app differentiates between scam and real text messages.
How we built it
We run a prompt on ChatGPT that contextualizes the situation and asks the AI to identify scam messages.
Challenges we ran into
There was difficulty in connecting the AI to the front end programming.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The AI results are noticeably accurate.
What we learned
The biggest takeaway was how to implement AI using a prompt to contextualize the nature of the application.
What's next for Scam Identifier
The future of the Scam Identifier is to make it much more accessible and easy to use.
